276-288 Trapelo Road

Year: 2019

Size: 7,000 Square Feet

Construction: Steel

Architect: Blackstone Block Architects

Engineer: Structural Integrity Group

Completed in 2019, 276-288 Trapelo Road transformed a former gas station and aging multi-family home into a vibrant new commercial development, enhancing the streetscape and community connections in Belmont.

The project included the construction of a new steel-frame building, carefully designed to complement the character of the surrounding neighborhood. The structure was divided into four fully-sprinklered retail bays, each with its own rooftop HVAC unit and ADA-compliant facilities. Special attention was given to the brick façade, selected to harmonize with the architectural vernacular of the area.

Through detailed planning, coordination with neighboring properties, and a commitment to high-quality execution, 276-288 Trapelo Road now stands as a thoughtful, lasting addition to the Belmont community.

Sustainability and energy efficiency were also key considerations throughout the project. Modern building systems and high-efficiency rooftop units were installed to meet current code requirements.

Careful material selection further supports long-term environmental performance and helps reduce operational costs.
